So I am OBSESSED with The 10th Kingdom. For anyone who doesn't know (which I think might be everyone) the 10th Kingdom was a miniseries that was on TV in like 2000, and is made by the people who did Gulliver's Travels and The Odyssey. I actually hated everything done by that guy, but for some reason, the 10th Kingdom stuck on a major level, and I've spent the last 8 years just giving it love. The premise of the series is that a young woman (Virginia) and her father end up traveling through a magic mirror (the passage of which is located somewhere in New York's Central Park) and are transported into a dimension made up of all of our childhood fairytales. It's seven and a half hours long, and I somehow have seen this thing a million times. I don't even want to think about how I've managed that. haha.
Anyways, Wolf is Virginia's love interest, and he is actually half-wolf. <~ Hooray. haha. My hope is that even if you've never heard of this fantabulous miniseries, you'll still enjoy the art.  But seriously, go watch it. Characters (c) The 10th Kingdom Images (c) Amanda Garretson |
