BIG FILE WARNING
So, further proof that I can draw things that don't look like big cartoon people. haha. Sorta..
I'm partial to the shiny belly. He was not a good model, but lord, the light done did shine off his rotund stomach in a way that worked well with pastels. lol.
Oh, and that torso with the arms crisscrossed over it: that's me. haha. I had to keep posing my arm, memorizing it for a second, drawing, and flinging my arm back into the pose, rinse, repeat.
These are a mish-mash of pieces from the beginning of 2009 and then the beginning of this year. OHBOY!
Oh, and sorry about the mature content labeling. I don't want people opening this at work and getting an unwanted eye-full.
Materials: thin black sharpie, HB-6B pencils, vine charcoal (my weapon of choice), sepia conte crayon, and pastels.
